- PVC, when heated, gives off HCl. It's not nice to have in your lungs or
- anywhere else. A FOAF uses a bong with a PVC tube in the sucking end, but
- since it is not exposed to much heat, he probably needn't worry too much
- (hopefully, that is). It also has an aluminium tube, which makes my FOAF
- just a little bit worried. Is it possible that significant quantities of
- aluminium would dissolve in the water and even end up in one's lungs?
