- Well, I've had first-hand experience on this subject. No, it
- wasn't from an attempt to get high. Once when I was MUCH younger and
- dumber, I wanted to demonstrate the concept of gas density for my
- friends, and my alchohol-sozzled brain had conveniently put Freon in
- segment 8 of the periodic table of elements right below argon, and as
- an inert element, mostly harmless, heh? So grabbing a nearby can, I
- took a big whiff... It had the desired effect of putting my voice
- into the sub-baritone range. It had the undesired effect of making me
- collapse and feel like vomiting. No folks, do NOT inhale freon under
- any circumstances, in addition to being dangerous, it is not even a
- little teensy bit fun. For anyone who is in the position of not being
- able to find other substances to abuse, I can think of about
- 6.02x10^23 things I would suggest BEFORE trying Freon.
