- Fed. Drug Laws for LSD? don't know exactly what they are...
-
- penalties will vary by state; also by whether you are simply in possession, or
- poss. with the intent to distribute, distribution (sales), or manmufacture
- (each cariies a bit stiffer penalty). some states may have enacted the weight-based
- term, 'MY STATE' has not to my knowledge (but, i'm not an attorney! ;-)
- [ editor's note: when i was busted for LSD in the late 60's there was only one
- sentence, maximum of 10 years with or without a fine; i got five years
- probabtion!!! i had a good lawyer (~$5000) - lawyers are one of the largest
- beneficiaries of the WoD...]
-
- obviously, if one is caught with more than a few hits, the conclusion would be that
- person 'intends to distribute' the lsd (and if you have 'lots' of it, then you are
- close to the source of manufacture! once you're busted with a sheet, and since that
- will carry a much stiffer penalty, the cops will use the spectre of the harsher
- sentence to 'turn you over', ie, get you to (cooperate) 'rat' on a bigger fish!
- beware of ANYBODY who has jsut been busted who gets right back into the drug scene!
- they're a snitch <most likely> or the adverbial f*cking bonehead...)
-
- now, back to the feds and their intertest in LSD. association with LARGE amounts of
- lsd will probably attract the feds anyway because of the political implications.
- and they would use the same tactics as the lower police to 'turn people over' to
- their ends. imho: the feds should only be involved when the lsd traffic is
- interstate or international...
-
- sorry this has to be anon... but 'paranoia stikes deep'...
