  13. I am looking for any sources of "photogenic" material relating
  14. to the origin of marijuana prohibition in the US.  This is for
  15. a TV documentary, so old films like "Reefer Madness",
  16. newsreels of Harry Anslinger, or old hemp prohibition posters
  17. would be ideal.

  19. An Australian documentary filmmaker has managed to get a
  20. big producer here interested in a TV documentary about
  21. cannabis prohibition.  She now needs to demonstrate the
  22. feasibility of finding archival material about the origins of
  23. hemp prohibition in the US.  The kind of material used by
  24. Stafford to illustrate earlier editions of the Encyclopedia
  25. would be ideal for this purpose.

  27. The filmmaker will be visiting the US about two weeks from
  28. now, and I would like to arrange for her to be able to
  29. evaluate what kind of material is available, and report to the
  30. producer about the possibilities for filming later (this is a
  31. preliminary research trip).
