- Yes, It can, but the results from person to person are highly
- variable. In fact, joints were sold in this country by a
- reputable pharmecuticals company at the turn of this century
- for asthma sufferers.
- This is documented by Dr. Andrew Weil. Most doctors then did not
- want to deal with the high variability of response from person to
- person, which is probably why the use died out. Doctors
- preferred a drug with consistent effects, even if less beneficial,
- to one with inconsistent effects.
