  13. I heard an ad on the radio last night, in which a nightclub ADVERTISED
  14. different cover charges for males and females (females could get in for
  15. about half the price of males).

  17. From my contacts in the nightclub industry, I understand that this is because
  18. females will go where it is cheap, whereas males will go where there are
  19. females.
  20.  
  21. What I can't understand is why this is not seen as sexual discrimination.

  23. Also, what would happen if the reverse was true?  I'm sure the government-funded
  24. women's lobby would pounce.  Unfortunately, there does not exist a similar
  25. body for men, and most attempts to create one are seen as chauvinist.
