- they all have -some- sort of regulatory oversight, but the level of this
- (at least on teh interstate/federal basis) is strongly dependant on their
- size. to oversimplify, the larger the company, the more regulation.

- AT&T is constantly bitching about the governmental interferecne in their
- activities, as opposed to the level required over at the others. they, in
- turn, keep saying that AT&T's market share is so great that the regulation
- is warranted.
