- I was around 10 years old, and living in Michigan when the blizzard hit. We
- got hit with a pretty decent amount of snow in Michigan. My grandmother, who
- was 79 years old at the time, was living alone in Delevan (Anybody out there
- from Delevan?). When he heard how bad it was in NY, my dad drove out immed-
- iately (well, as immediate as possible) to help clear the snow. I remember
- sitting in her living room, and the snow covering up half of the windows. It
- gave me the feeling of being in an "reverse aquarium". The sledding out back
- was great! It was a bitch to get back up the hill though...
