- That's really too bad, because without it, it turns the movie from actually
- meaning something (kind of-- the moral is "killing is bad", something not too
- many people would argue with), into simply "Spinal Tap" with a serial killer
- instead of a rock band. The main "point" of the movie is lost, really.
- Without this scene, I don't think you can shift your judgement of the killer
- as easily. I dunno, maybe I'm just being stupid.

- As I posted before, the directors were there afterwards in Toronto and I found
- it amusing that a lot of people didn't get the point and they were offended
- by the rape scene, yet they laughed heartily at the dozens of killings. But
- then again, the fact that not everyone "got it" perhaps justifies the scene's
- removal.

- Anyway, it would still be worth watching, for sure. I'd really like to see
- it again, actually.
