- This view of "insiders" making huge profits at the expense of individual
- investors is so widespread that I have to point out that *every* study done
- on the performance of individuals vs. professionals in the stock market shows
- the individual outperforms the pro year after year. This tendency is less
- pronounced in the commodity markets, which are tough (psychologically) for
- the individual, but is still there.
