  15. I was innocently reading alt.conspiracy, and had got about 2 lines into
  16. a message when line noise on my transmission (over a BT phone line using
  17. tip) caused the following things to happen:

  19.     1)    rot13 the rest of the message
  20.     2)    kill that thread
  21.     3)    unsubscribe from the newsgroup.
  22.  
  23. Was that really line noise?? I think not! Maybe that message was the key
  24. to the whole show... maybe someone didn't want it read...
