  16. It bears pointing out that a group name with capital letters in
  17. it won't go anywhere.  They're generally not considered valid
  18. in group names.

  20. As for this particular proposal, unnecessary dots should be 
  21. avoided whenever possible.  "alt.music.tbone" or "alt.music.tbburnett"
  22. would be much better names.
