- Hi everyone. This is my first time on this network but I've been reading what
- everyone's been talking about for a couple of weeks.
-
- I marched for 12 years and instructed for 2 years in a class A color guard. I
- wonder if anyone out there remembers us? St. Mary's from Brookline Mass.
- I marched until 1983 and instructed St. Mary's in 1984 and 1985. Our best
- year was 1980. Was anyone around then?
-
- I've been reading what everyone's been writing for a couple of weeks. I forget
- your name but you marched in NYRG and was captain (I think it was 1983)
- when they did Fidler on the Roof. You guys were great! I got to see you
- at a couple of WGI regionals. They were the good old days.
-
- I went to a local Eastern Mass color guard contest a couple of weeks ago.
- It is so pitiful now, except for a few guards in Open Class and World Class.
- Blessed Sac won, Point of View was 2nd and Suburbanettes from N.H. came
- in third. I do not have the scores though. Sac was really good for this
- early in the season. They climb ladders and do funky equipment work in
- their show. Has anyone else seen anything interesting at shows yet?
