- As has been mentioned in related postings, there are 2 disks in question.
- The Photo CD of Alice to Ocean does indeed contain audio and interactive
- branching points. The current Photo CD players only support 1 of the 2
- types of possible audio contained on a Photo CD, commonly referred to as
- "red book" digital audio.
- In general, Photo CD players will not currently decode ADPCM audio, which
- allows for a continuous audio overlay, in addition to image display.
- Audio support on the current Photo CD players is limited to a sequential
- "display the image then play the audio" type of operation.

- The real issue is that there are no commercial locations which can
- currently provide audio support in the initial authoring, so any current
- Photo CD disk with audio was made in-house.
