  11. There is a purple haze (sorry!) floating around a dark
  12. corner of Callahan's.  It has been there for a few
  13. days now.

  15. Every once in a while, Mike has brought some chicken
  16. soup, toast, and flat ginger ale over to the corner.

  18. The haze starts to clear a bit, and through it one
  19. can glimpse a very sick, very tired /*.

  22. to translate this post into a stuffed-nasal version
  23. of english).

  26. a common cold, rather severe, but nothing to get
  27. too worried about."

  29. The purple guy takes a sip of some wonderful
  30. chicken soup.
