  11. flipping through a bulging filofax.

  17. "Saturday, MaryTail and I wandered (meandered, even) through the Welsh Marches
  18. to that most wonderful of places, Hay on Wye. Even though it was blowing a cold
  19. gale, nothing was to keep us from that bibliophiliac Mecca.

  22. one of the Daniel Keys Morans I'm looking for (anyone seen _Emerald Eyes_ or
  23. _The Ring_? - as those are the two I need to find!). Not only that, but I
  24. came across a mint 1st edition hardcover of my favourite hard Sf novel,
  25. George Zebrowski's _Macrolife_ - not only that, but it was inscribed to Brian 
  26. Aldiss, and contained photocopies of the reviews and a proof cover for the
  27. paperback! No way was that worth 6 pounds! So I bought it...

  30. Rice was to be talking and signing in Bristol that night... We managed to
  31. get together a car load, and wandered off to hear the author of the Vampire
  32. Chronicles discuss her work - and to get our books signed!

  35. come even more books... And another trip to Bristol.
