  23. summer sometime, the systems administrator complained that there wasn't
  24. enough disk space and he was thinking of ways to increase disk space for
  25. the programmers that really needed it to do *work* of all things!  One
  26. of the solutions was to lose the alt.* hierarchy starting with alt.sex
  27. and those newsgroups he considered (I forget the term he used) racy, etc.
  28. While I agree in general that newgroups provided to one at work should
  29. have to do with work, I disagree with letting someone decide what "fun"
  30. newsgroups should be let through.  If he had said that all newsgroups
  31. except the comp.* hierarchy were going to be lost, I might not have
  32. squawked as much.  DJ is right, censorship is a no-no."  
  33. Collecting a glass of wine from Mike, SEA turns to DJ and says, "Isn't
