  21. too (hi!), also to Windsinger, Wumpus (ABEND), Nicki (MIA), Bard (for his
  22. choccy concoction, yum!), Kyla-sprite (coming RSN), Didi, Merrigold (hello!),
  23. Meredith (somewhere), Steve Glover, U.Spaceman, DM, Space Cadet, and da Wolf!"

  25. "I handed in my final assignment last Wednesday, so my C & Unix course is
  26. effectively done. Sadly, I have yet to get any kind of placement, so I'll be
  27. job-hunting again :-( but the training firm has made provision for us to form
  28. a Jobclub to help us find work, and allow us to keep our training allowance
  29. in the meantime, so it ain't all bad. Plus I'll have time to do some Windows
  30. programming, at last. So, fingers crossed."

  32. "I also got an offer for my old BBC Master computer system - a chap from
  33. Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh is buying the whole shabang off of me,
  34. so he can use it for controlling experiment equiptment. He's even offered me
  35. extra for me to bring it to Kings Cross in London so he can pick it up easily.
  36. That's cheered me up no end, as I could use the money for that Soundblaster
  37. card I've been lusting after for months... :-)"

  40. let u new peeps in on my particulars." He gives a quick twirl. "I'm 6'2", with
  41. dark hair, grey-green-blue eyes, a largish conk :^) and a pretty mixed-up
  42. appearance (I'm Anglo-Sicilian, so y'all show da proper respect :-))"

  46. with a BSc Computer Science (failed) Degree, and no gainful employment at the
  47. mo :-( I'm well behind on my reading (SF mostly), and I'll be off to Tower
  48. Records as soon as the weather cheers up, to stock up on rap/house/techno/
  49. ambient stuff (long overdue!)"
