  14. "Hey folks! The project which has been chewing up small bits of my spare
  15. time for the past couple of months is finally ready for release. This is
  16. the first announcement of the availability of the Callahan's Cookbook.
  17. With 17 contributors (so far) and 43 recipes (unless I've miscounted),
  18. it should be enough to provide hours of cooking fun for everyone.
  19. Selected highlights include Nicarra's fudge, the Grey Lady's potstickers,
  20. two different pizzas, two different chilis, and _six_ recipes involving
  21. chocolate!!

  23. "I'm not exactly sure of the best way to distribute it, as it takes up
  24. quite a bit of space. Nevertheless, I'm ready to give it a go, so anyone
  25. who wants a copy can e-mail me for it. If you can read compressed and
  26. uuencoded files, please say so, since that will cut some net traffic.

  29. into LaTeX and have a pretty Postscript version before long. What's
  30. more, this is only version 1.0! I'm still willing to accept new recipes
