- I have AutoCad R12 set up running under Windows 3.1 on a network. I can print
- or plot from a workstation by printing to a file called LPT# where LPT# is the
- nonlocal or rerouted port that the net sets up. I cannot however simply plot to
- a printer set up on LPT#, AutoCad returns an error. This works fine just
- plotting to a file call LPT# except that when I use an Autolisp file for this
- same purpose it doesn't go through the same dialog box but rather it uses the
- command line syntax. Unfortunately AutoCad returns an error when you type LPT#
- as the filename when you are using a command line syntax. Why is this? What can
- I do to fix it? I need to be able to plot from these workstations to a Laserjet
- using AutoLisp. Thanks.
