- I've tried Panix and am pleased with the quality of service. Unless I am
- mistaken, Panix and Echo are the only New York City sites to offer Internet
- access. Sure, there are dozens of "mail only" or mail/news only sites,
- I don't know why Mondo chooses to publicize the Mindvox system. They're
- overpriced, inept, and don't even have high-speed modem dialups. When
- I subscribe to a service, I expect some degree of response when I ask the
- administrators a question. I was told by digital@mindvox.phantom.com that
- they have high speed dialups (which is why I signed up, and was overcharged
- $30 on my credit card but that's another story). Turns out they DO NOT have
- high speed modems. Sorry if it sounds like I'm attacking them, but in all
- honesty they are the most unprofessional, irresponsible, and sneakiest bunch
- of weasels ever to soil the sacred grounds of cyberspace.
