  36. As a Muslim, I can say "no" -- this is just one style of polemical
  37. writing some Muslims have tried in an attempt to try to "prove" God
  38. "logically".  It is not a fundamental part of Islamic teaching, though
  39. it is probably a characteristic response of many religious people when 
  40. faced with the secular onslaught of today's world.  True Islamic teaching, 
  41. in my opinion, goes far deeper.

  43. I believe the true heart of Islam to be Sufism -- not all Muslims
  44. would agree with me, but many would.  I personally think that Sufism 
  45. ["Tasawwuf"] reveals the true metaphysical depth of the religion.
