  14. I've just had a Hindu horoscope done and am wondering what Sidereal
  15. means.  Also,  I'm having some problems working out longitude and latitude.

  17. The birth details on the horoscope are:
  18.     Date: 8th May 1974
  19.     Place: Krapina,  Yugoslavia (near Zagreb)
  20.                45N50,  18E59
  21.     Time: 1:00 pm
  22.          GMT time: 12:00 (noon)

  24. Everything seems okay except when I look up Krapina in the atlas the 
  25. coordinates are:
  26.         46N10,  15E52
  27.  
  28. I was confused because there was a difference so I entered the info into
  29. the program STAR and ASTRO271.  
  30.  
  31. STAR gives coordinates close to what it says in the atlas whereas ASTRO271
  32. gives coordinates as in my Hindu horoscope.
  33.  
  34. Now I'm very confused as to what is happening.  If anybody could help I'd
  35. greatly appreciate it.
