- Dave, you seem to have read a lot about the subject, but have failed to
- investigate it on a personal level. The problem you have here is that you
- are talking to people who use astrology every day. We know that it works and
- we know that by using the information we can get by looking at a natal chart
- we can help ourselves and others to understand the workings of the personality.
- When you have intimate knowledge of a subject and use it everyday it is rather
- difficult to be objective when someone comes along and says that it doesn't
- have validity. It's a little like trying to tell a mathematician that numbers
- are just a symbol and can have no impact on reality.

- What I am trying to tell you is, it is nice to have these conversations with
- you, but you are not going to find any converts here. If you want to talk to
- someone who can listen and agree with your assessment of the reality of your
- scientific view you'll have to find someone who hasn't found the time and
- interest to use Astrology.
