- These statements are ridiculous... I realize that you must earn money to
- live... I realize that the art that sells is the art that is pushed by the

- There certainly exists art that is made to be sold, but that is not even
- close to all of it... Murals, installations, public performances,
- happenings, activist art... all of these are are, and most of it does _NOT_
- sell... Many pieces are funded by granting organizations for the benefit
- of the artist and the public... NOT funded by the artist for the sale...
