  18. Well, I learned from an out of print book by Adrian Hodgkins (I think,
  19. I'm going from memory) titled "The Archer's Craft".  It is quite a nice
  20. find.  The author has a great attitude about doing things "right".
  21. Others have called him "The Crazy Brit".  For instance his favourite
  22. tool for roughing out bowstaves is a hatchet :-)

  24. Anyhow, he has a really nice description of the process of making a
  25. flemish twist string.  Apart from the technical information the
  26. presentation is a work of art.  If you can find a copy it is well worth
  27. the price.  If you can't I might be convinced to post you a copy.  I'd
  28. type it, but I think the illustrations clarify things dramatically.
