  21. I have a book [reprint from 1907] called _Crossbows_ that deals with this
  22. kind of stuff.

  24. The original crossbow was used as a Roman seige engine, and threw mostly
  25. rocks.

  27. Why would anyone want to fire a 1000 pound crossbow BOLT!?  Perhaps to
  28. launch old Scud missiles if the engines don't ignite maybe..... :)
