  12. How often should water in a marine aquarium be changed and what amount each

  15. We have recently converted one tank over to salt water and were told
  16. by the fish store who sold us the new supplies that the water did not
  17. need to be changed as often as with fresh.  They recommended: once after
  18. the first month, then once a year after that.  But I've also heard other
  19. answers.  The books we have don't seem to cover this.

  21. Tank Description:
  22.   - 72 gal.
  23.   - UGF w/ two powerheads
  24.   - protein skimmer
  25.   - canister filter w/ chemi-pure
  26.   - just fish, no live rock etc.
