- How often should water in a marine aquarium be changed and what amount each
- time?
-
- We have recently converted one tank over to salt water and were told
- by the fish store who sold us the new supplies that the water did not
- need to be changed as often as with fresh. They recommended: once after
- the first month, then once a year after that. But I've also heard other
- answers. The books we have don't seem to cover this.
-
- Tank Description:
- - 72 gal.
- - UGF w/ two powerheads
- - protein skimmer
- - canister filter w/ chemi-pure
- - just fish, no live rock etc.
-
- Thanks,
- Karla
