  17. My dear pet, a goldfish(fantail) is having big problems with what seems
  18. like Gyrodactylus or Dactylogyrus: fish lice...  There are no other fish
  19. in the aquarium with him.

  21. A week ago, he wasn't as dynamic as usual and was beginning to rub and
  22. shake himself: not knowing what to do, I've put some methylene blue and
  23. a little bit of salt in the aquarium.

  25. 3 days ago, I noticed a redness on his "chin": his gills were attacked!
  26. So I replaced 2/3 of the water (because of the methylene) and pour in
  27. some "LIFE BEARER" from "Aquarium Products".  It says that it will stop
  28. both rubbing and shaking in less then 48 hours... Well, it's been about
  29. 42 hours, and he's not feeling better. But he still likes to eat
  30. (his dorsal fin goes strait up!).

  32. What can I do to save him? On the "LIFE BEARER", it's not said what to
  33. do AFTER the 48 hours... Should I pour some of it(the same qty ?) UNTIL
  34. he's ok? Or should I try another product(which one?) and change the water
  35. again, risking giving him STRESS...

  37. Please help me! This fish is not a decoration, I LOVE him!!

  42. N.B.:Is it possible that "LIFE BEARER" is not working because it could be
  43. too "old"??
