- If you are driving from Califnordia to Colorado, you might want to do
- the following:
-
- * Drain your radiator and fill it with a 50-50 mixture of water and
- ethylene glycol, commonly known as "anti-freeze" in those parts of
- the country where water freezes during certain parts of the year.
-
- * Obtain an implement for scraping ice off of your windshield (I kid
- you not! My sister went to school in Texas, and when it snowed for
- the first time in umpteen years, she whipped out her handy window
- scraper, and none of the Texans knew what it was!)
-
- * If you get lost driving around the Denver Metro area, remember that
- the mountains are always WEST.
-
- * The best 24-hour eateries in the Denver Metro Area are the IHoP's,
- or "International House of Pancakes".
-
- * Our Museum of Natural History is really cool. The first thing you
- see when you walk in the front door is a T. Rex skeleton looming over
- the entrance, posed in mid-pounce. Right now, they have some IMMENSE
- Aztec stone carvings as part of a special show.
-
- And most important of all:
-
- * Don't move to Colorado; just spend some money here. We don't want
- people like you moving in and driving the housing prices (further)
- up.
