  28.         If this were true then why draw attention to the incident by claiming
  29.         the recovery of a disk?  At the time there was a substantial reward for
  30.         physical evidence of flying saucers ( UFO CRASH AT ROSWELL-RANDLE/
  31.         SCHMITT).  Consequently, a claim of such evidence would be sure to
  32.         attract unwanted attention to the theoretical manned balloon crash
  33.         site.
