- If this were true then why draw attention to the incident by claiming
- the recovery of a disk? At the time there was a substantial reward for
- physical evidence of flying saucers ( UFO CRASH AT ROSWELL-RANDLE/
- SCHMITT). Consequently, a claim of such evidence would be sure to
- attract unwanted attention to the theoretical manned balloon crash
- site.
