  37. Just a question. Could it be that because we have evolved with natural
  38. background
  39. radiation, we can tolerate the levels that we receive from natural sources,
  40. but
  41. that any additions to this will be more lethal to us? The point being that
  42. these
  43. emissions would seem to come on top of any background stuff, and could
  44. therefore
  45. push us over a dosage which evolutionarily speaking, we have been able to deal
  46. with.
