  22. I've seen problems like this when talking between one system and
  23. another which had bugs in some MTU-discovery code, which caused
  24. problems with TCP packets over a certain size.

  26. What is at the other end of your MultiNet SLIP link? Another Vax, or
  27. something else? Once you get your MN 3.2 upgrade, you'll be able to
  28. monitor the data flow through the slip link using TCPDUMP, which might
  29. help to diagnose what is going wrong. [Ken: Please correct me if I'm
  30. wrong on this one! :-) ]

  32. What modems (or other comms gear) is connected between the MN Vax and
  33. the other end?

  36. flow of 8-bit clean data?
