- It is worth adding to this that HR (RFC1123) prohibits setting
- reprocessing of SMTP channels at intervals of less than, if I recall, 30
- minutes. The rationale for that was general concern about network
- resources but also recognition of the tendency you mention-- i.e., it is
- a waste of resources and can cause congestion on busy systems and it
- rarely accomplishes much anyway.
