  20. January 28:  Representatives from Alcatel Cable Systems will discuss how 
  21.              they are evolving to self-directed teams at their Tarboro
  22.              plat and continually breaking their own quality and productivity 
  23.              records along the way.

  25. February 25: February's program will focus on quality issues in the health
  26.              care industry.  Our speaker is Curt McGlocklin, Professor of 
  27.              Business Administration at the Kenan-Flagler Business School
  28.              and Professor of Health at the University of North Carolina,
  29.              Chapel Hill.  His talk is called "Involving Professionals in TQM:
  30.              Experience in Health Care," and will present finding from several
  31.              studies he has conducted with physicians and clinicians in TQM efforts.

  34. Both programs will be held at the NC State Faculty Club with a social beginning
  35. at 6:00 P.M.,  dinner at 6:30 P.M., and program at 7:00 P.M.  If you'd like
  36. to attend please be sure to call Jeannine Grisson-Stegal at 546-6003 so we'll
  37. have the right amount of food and beverage.
