- On a whim, I picked up a used book called "The Third Wor'd War: Apostrophe
- Theory" by someone named Ian Lee. It was in the humor section of the
- store, and it is quite funny in parts, but I would have put it with the
- art books. It's a mishmash of photos, drawings, clippings, etc. The
- author/artist likes to clip text and photos about a certain topic from
- wildly different sources (e.g. Alice in Wonderland and a physics textbook)
- and juxtapose them.
-
- I think it's a work of genius, but I can't seem to find any more info
- about this Ian Lee person. The book's copyright date is 1978. One of
- its illustrations shows a book titled "My Idea of a N_vel", by Ian Lee,
- with the first vowel in the last word replaced by a person's navel.
- Is this a real book? My local bookstores have never heard of Ian Lee.
- Can anyone help? Thanks!
