  12. Those pictures, consisting only of random-appearing 
  13. dots on a page, that are supposed to contain a 
  14. three-D image of something if you stare at it the
  15. right way, are one of the cleverest practical jokes
  16. anyone has ever pulled off.  There's simply nothing
  17. there to see.  It took me six months of daily effort
  18. to come to this conclusion.

  21. The subtlety of this practical joke cannot be over-
  22. stated.  From now on, I'm going to say "I see it!"
  23. and see if I can catch anyone else on it.
