- Those pictures, consisting only of random-appearing
- dots on a page, that are supposed to contain a
- three-D image of something if you stare at it the
- right way, are one of the cleverest practical jokes
- anyone has ever pulled off. There's simply nothing
- there to see. It took me six months of daily effort
- to come to this conclusion.

- Oh, the man-hours I've wasted staring at this thing.
- The subtlety of this practical joke cannot be over-
- stated. From now on, I'm going to say "I see it!"
- and see if I can catch anyone else on it.
