  12. He listens.  The sound is rhythmic, white.  It enters his being, and tunes it.
  13. He sits for a while, absorbed in the flow.  Briefly, the sound changes,
  14. something else enters in.  He is disturbed by the change, but it is short, and
  15. the disturbance subsides into the hum.  It happens again, a bit longer this
  16. time.  He does not like this, and drives the sound from his self,
  17. concentrating only on the smooth rhythm underneath.  The intrusion persists,
  18. attempting to overpower the background.  He envelops himself in the whiteness. 
  19. The intrusion subsides slowly, defeated.  He relaxes, aimless, into the noise.
