- I don't think you realize the sheer brilliance of this. The originators
- of many breakfast cereals took wheat scraps that would otherwise be discarded,
- toasted and puffed them, and then sold them for a premium. They marketed their
- waste products as exclusive merchandise. This is entirely an American concept.
