  16. I don't think you realize the sheer brilliance of this.  The originators
  17. of many breakfast cereals took wheat scraps that would otherwise be discarded,
  18. toasted and puffed them, and then sold them for a premium.  They marketed their
  19. waste products as exclusive merchandise.  This is entirely an American concept.
