  16. Actually, just about everybody made M-1 carbines during the war, it seems.
  17. The ones collectors really go gaga over were made by Rock-Ola, who apparently
  18. suspended manufacture of jukeboxes during the war, but not for very long,
  19. so their production run of M-1s was rather small.
