  22. Critical difference:  this person is trying to be funny (though
  23. failing miserably).  Joachim was proud of the fact that s/he was
  24. writing about nothing, for his/her own purposes (was Joachim a 
  25. male or a female?).  Anyway, I found Joachim fascinating, in a
  26. road-accidenty sort of way.  Mind-numbing banality provides a
  27. nice sort of contrast, at times.
