  11.   I lied.  Markian did not write the line quoted in my .sig, and comparing
  12. notes with him I concluded that I had made it up by misremembering his
  13. line "Did you ever have one of those *lives*?"

  15.   This leaves me with a self-quote in my .sig.  (Warlord!  Warlord!)  But
  16. I like the line too well to give it up right away, so I stuck in the weasel
  17. words "attributed to" to make it appear that someone else had attributed 
  18. it to him, rather than me.
