  11. It was a call for papers, from an International Institute for Reduction
  12. of Natural Disasters.  There was no hint as to what the disasters would 
  13. be reduced.  Piles of rubble suggested themselves; threads and tatters.

  16. more in the balance with the un-natural sort, and like  Michael Flanders'
  17. airport bus-drivers, concerned to keep the statistics favourable.        /
