  12. YESTERDAY I had two of the more amusing experiences w/ cashiers Ive had
  13. in a while. And both on the same day, too.
  14.  
  15. CASHIER 1: Working in the Pavilion XI, the place where ARA sells really
  16. bad fast-food at outrageous prices. As I approach her to pay for my
  17. 'pizza' she says:

  19. "And I tol him I didnt like his present. It hurt his feelings but I dont
  20. give a shit. I mean, I told him before, you cant get me what i want just
  21. dont get me nothin."

  23. After paying, as i was walking away she began talking about how hard it
  24. is to convince men to get married.

  26. CASHIER 2: This was even better. I was at Phar-mor, and the three cashiers 
  27. on duty were holding a conversation, despite their being separated by
  28. several aisles and several customers. Naturally, the one at my register
  29. was the loudest.

  31. "And you know what they make the coloring for cokes and pepsis out of--
  32. BUG JUICE"

  34. (Disbelief from the other two cashiers)

  36. "No, carmen, carmarel, whatever that stuffs called..."

  38. "Caramel coloring"
  39.  
  40. "Yeah,t hat stuff. They mkae it out of BUG JUICE. Im never drinking
  41. nothing I cant see thru anymore."

  43. Rather than press the woman as to the definition of 'bug juice', I just
  44. grabbed my KY jelly and left. So scott, you out there? what DO they make
  45. caramel coloring from???
