  11. Today I read a story by a gentleman named David Kirkpatrick.  I've met him in
  12. person, a couple of years ago, and he's a)a great fan of James Joyce, and b)an
  13. incredibly irritating person to talk to, because he has some kind of speech
  14. impediment which makes it nearly impossible to talk faster than ten words a
  15. minute.
