- Well, as i can see, aside from carasso and turing.org dying, not much
- happened. And did I expect it to? Anyway, I got back from Montgomery, Al
- and Atlanta just saturday. I wont bore you with the new years story, suffice
- it to say that bringin a parent with a gold card is a good idea on new years
- eve. makes the drinks cheaper. and of course, some OlderAtlantaWoman tried to
- pick me up in the bar (2 years in a row now) but i resisted.
-
- The drive was long--~1500 miles all told, all driven alone. weee. anyway,
- two signs were so stupid as to merit posting:
-
- #1--BEST OXXYMORONIC NAME FOR A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT:
-
- "Down Home Frozen Yogurt"---yuppiedom invades Exitville, Va
-
-
- #2--LEAST INTIMIDATING TRAFFIC SIGN:
-
- "Speed checked by detection devices"---ubiquitous sign in Georgia.
