  22. seem to move about in absolutes.

  28. You said it was allowed in the case of rape. If it is ok there, then
  29. there is no logical reason to disallow it in other cases. (Recall that
  30. the fetus itself has no significant differences whether it is conceived
  31. willingly or unwillingly) In the above force case, someone is again
  32. trying to propagate something onto another (sounds a lot like a fetus
  33. usurping the mother's resources for its own needs, doesn't it) and something
  34. unsavory must be done to halt it. (I've never claimed that use of force
  35. or abortion is a "nice" thing)

  37. BTW, the force arguement, if you support it, also directly covers abortion.
  38. It is a much shorter step than the one between supporting capital punishment
  39. and banning abortion. It is also much more logical.
