  38. Agreed. There are usually emotional and psychological costs, however. Certainly
  39. if a child is removed from an abusive environment the parent is hurt, but the
  40. life of the child is paramount.

  46. This is where I differ.  If there is no difference between the fetus/baby
  47. I need to consider the rights of the fetus/baby balanced against the rights
  48. of the mother.  It's not a pleasent choice but I think
  49. society has an obligation to consider this when they determine
  50. abortion policy. IMO the fetus/babies life should be the overiding concern
  51. even though this may cause emotional or psychological harm to the mother.
  52. (I guess that sounds cruel but whenever conflicting rights are involved somebody
  53. is hurt.)
