- Don't forget that the embryonic-to-fetal transition occurs at the
- *beginning* of the ninth week of gestation, or the beginning of the
- 11th week since LMP, which is after 10 weeks since LMP. That, I'm
- sure you'll agree, is not 3 months. The unnerving thing is that
- the writers of the dictionary didn't do the hair-splitting, leaving
- it to the contributors to an unmoderated Internet talk group.
