- As near as I can tell, ST:DS9 is a spin-off of ST:TNG and will run concurrently
- with ST:TNG after taking over the latter's current time slots. Right now, the
- 10-11P slot on Saturdays (Fox channel 6) plays re-runs of ST:TNG, but from the
- sounds of things this will become the slot for current episodes of ST:TNG? I
- like the idea of having two different ST episodes to see every week. They
- wouldn't dare take ST:TNG away from us, would they?
-
- As an aside, all you ST:TNG fans should try to get your hands on a copy of the
- book or audio cassette called "Imzadi"... a fantastic story explaining the long
- and lustful relationship between Deanna Troi and Will Riker. If you caught
- last night's re-run of "Encounter at Far Point" (the pilot for ST:TNG) you got
- a brief piece of the puzzle when Riker and Troi were introduced to each other
- by Capt. Picard.
